(Okay, butching the f*** up in 3... 2... 1...)

So, am I doing this correctly? I'm supposed to go to this page and click on eggs and stuff? Because I'd hate to be doing it wrong and not helping your pets survive, after all.

And I notice that both your cities are coming along well. Thing's city is already accepting trade and getting new buildings! What made you guys choose those names for your cities?

You know, I think I'm doing better on this side than actually adopting something. I never seem to have time for the ownership part.

Aww! Thaks for tending my babies! The stone dragons are throwing geode babies now instead of more stones I've noticed! And yep, all they need is clickies to help them grow into strong, healthy pixeladults.

I have no clue what's up with that test tube. I'm starting to wonder if it's EVER going to open...

And I think my black raptor is on the verge of reaching maturity! :D

Raicho-hou means "Firebird-Phoenix" which relates not only to my love of birds (need to take pictures of my RL flock of babies.... we have a RL pet-pic thread, don't we? I have new baby snakes that need showing off...) but my current roost. :>

I also play Howrse and GoPets. Neither need clicking, but taking care of the horses is kinda fun, and GoPets is just silly cute.

My Howrse horses: Briarthorn, Lost in the Sky and Skyfire.

Oh,what the hell. RL babies in blurry pictures. Because the camera on my cel phone sux0rz and I couldn't find the good one.

Your baby snakes are LUVLY.
I say that in the knowledge that they are tame and well looked after, unlike snakes in the wild -from which I would run away RAPIDLY in the opposite direction (even though you're not supposed to do that).
Pet snakes are fine. Usually if someone owns them, they know that they require a HUGE investment of time and resources. (They do, don't they?) I hope they grow up to be wonderful and well-behaved.

I notice that your "tubey" things' interface has changed. Let's just hope this means that they're going to break open some time soon, because I can't see why people would keep clicking on this stuff without anything interesting happening!

I didn't notice that you'd also scored a chicken among your menagerie! That thing better grow up to be a basilisk or a hippogriff, or else I think it's gonna be lunch!
I like the Seasonal dragons too... :P
If this last post seems ridiculous, please disregard it. Thank you. ;)

I find snakes to be fairly low-maintenance, but that is in comparison to birds. They have kinda similar requirements in a lot of ways. At least as far as kingsnakes go. They're pretty easy keepers. And they have fun personalities.

I think Valenth finally updated their site. It's been kinda tetchy...

The chicken is all grown. But never underestimate the chicken. They may go Great Gonzo on you.

New eggs!!

And the chicken is a rare. It took fast clicking to catch her. They're highly sought after.

My favorite is still the paper dragon Image

It's a shame you can't breed the Paper Dragons, because they're just enchanted parchments. But then again, you could always use a photocopier...
I notice that the eggs also animate now! (Edit: oh, different site)

Did you accidentally walk off the edge? You should have caught a taxi home from the bar, stupid!
I'd find living on a worldplate a disturbing experience - I'd make sure I lived very close to the centre of it.

YOU CURSED ME! The other morning I was heading downstairs while trying not to step on a cat, and I somehow slipped and ended up bumping halfway down the stairs on my butt.

Interesting you didn't blame the cat, BTW... :doubtful:

Oh, I yelled at him, too, but Tigger's schtick is Getting Under Feet, so really...

(Um, Tigger's not the cat in my icon, in case you were wondering. That would be Oscar. Who is a girl. There are all kinds of interesting critters in my house, even before you meet any of the humans...)

I'm not sure what happened.... I was sure they had enough clicks...

There are two new babies! I'm hoping my little silver is a girl, since I already have a boy. *hopes for pink frills* I'd also like a girl frilldragon.

These are my lovely horses. They don't need clicks, but aren't they nice?

Your horses (horsii? horsen?) look wonderful and well looked after. I bet looking after a virtual horse is much easier than looking after a real one. Less fertiliser to clean up as well!
I like horses too... but I couldn't possibly eat a whole one. :P

This post of mine looks morbid now, with the tombstones on it... :depressed:

Well, yay! Something else to come do each day!

Might as well toss in my own adoptable.. all I've got at the 'mo is my own tiny MiniCity, Tharratt.
BEFORE: Changing approach. The question was.. take arms out of the Yuxian design and give them telekinetic powers, or make a less retarded arm design?

NOW: Breakthrough in understanding of the Yuxian! Now I know A: why the Yuxian look like humanoid wraiths, B: why their society is heavily based on a human one, C: why humans let them live when Yuxian are such a threat, D: how Tuck is 'succeeding'... Yuxian are horrifically fragile.

And speaking of cute reptilians, my beloved aberrant kingsnake who's been missing since November is home! He's fat, healthy, and still loves his chin and headrubs and to hang out around my neck. No nippiness, no aggression, just pure, contented to be held Voodoo. ^v^ ^*^ ^v^ ^*^

This brings my pet count to....

Five snakes...
Eight zebra finches...
Two pigeons...
Three button quail...
Two Japanese quail...
Two bantam hens...
Three peafowl...
Three betta fish...
One plakat betta fish...
One neon yellow glofish ...
One black tetra...
Two red tailed black sharks...
One leopard cory catfish...
One julii cory catfish...

I'm working on that partridge in a pear tree... I may have to settle for a bobwhite in the living room.

So... your snake escaped? Eeep. I'd hate to have been the one who found him! :o
How on earth did a snake run away from you, anyway? It doesn't have any legs!
... ;]

Am I reading this correctly? You have thirty-five animals?
Holy heck, I hope you're not renting that place. :sweatbead:
(Though the fish would be pretty good at cleaning up after themselves, I imagine. )

Seriously, though, it must be fun to have so much life around you.
And I can tell that you're the sort of person who respects the animals they keep. I know far too many people who own pets for the wrong reasons (status symbol, cuteness, impulse buy, etc.) when they don't realise the responsibility they are accepting. I mean, you're not just getting a little interactive toy that you can play with for a few minutes and then put in the cupboard - you are actually responsible for a thinking, functioning LIFE.
It's actually not that far removed from looking after a baby, when you think about it.
If this last post seems ridiculous, please disregard it. Thank you. ;)
