Lost and Found second Edition

If it's something you watch or hear or read, this is the general grab-bag for it.

And now something ... different

How about a calendar?
Pin Ups!
The japanese EIZO Company published it.
And you can be sure, these girls are real really literally nude. (except the high heels)
You can see all!
No wonder.
X-Ray!

This time, a private thing

Two cats
filmed 7.27.2010 (correct written american date?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wzPgPNLskU

Baffy and Mausi.
Yes Mausi is a lousy name for a cat, but I didn't choose it.

Mausi is now for 7 weeks in our home.
Originally she did hide herself in a storehouse from the company where my brother is working.
They could catch her in a special cat trap and my brother brought the cat to our home.
She is a wild cat, probably never grown up with humans.
So she did hide again, this time in the couch, a bed couch, and left it only for food or the result of the food, poo & pee.
She uses a cat toilet which is now also in our living room next to the couch.

Last week she became "rollig", means she's in her rutting season, Hey, my dictionary doesn't know "rollig" the german term for a love sick lady cat.
Means: rolls on the floor, from another side to th other side, ... Mausi does.
She meows loud and Baffy is a boy and ... not very interested, not much, ahm, not so directly, not real, but to have a look can't be wrong.

Mausi was the last week not shy, but her hormons are getting now back to a normal level.
So we will see, if she wants to have contact with us again.
I crawled her a bit, and maybe she will become another new member of our cat family.
But we have to castrate her first.
And we need again this special cat trap.

The English term you're looking for is "in heat".

Aw, such sweet kittycats!
It's nice that you're looking after the new girl. I hope you don't have any troubles getting her "fixed". (btw, girl cats are "spayed", boy cats are "neutered". ;] )
Apparently, it's important to get the girl cats spayed as soon as possible, because if they don't have a litter of kittens while they're young they can develop problems with their ovaries... oh, and also, the obvious issue with unwanted kittens, etc. etc.

Good Luck! Thanks for sharing!
[pats kitties]
If this last post seems ridiculous, please disregard it. Thank you. ;)

By the way I made two level packs for Boppin' in case anyone is interested...

Girl cat Mausi is in the foreground, boy cat Baffy is the one who doesn't like her,
and who's running away.
(I'm still wondering where this "wooosh" sound does come from.)

I still can't understand why Mausi was in heat, since Saturday it's over.

She has a baby kittie! I discovered it yesterday morning.
Black, complete black.
It can't walk by now but it did "escape" from the couch where Mausi lives in.
Nearly 2 or 3 weeks old.
We didn't know that the cat was pregnant.
And we even didin't notice the birth.
I suppose she's got only one baby, otherwise, there would be much more rumor in the couch.

How can a cat mother become in heat, 2 weeks after giving birth to a little kitten?
Really..., I have 20 years experiences with cats. But that's new to me.

Edit: It was wednesday...
The kitten is dead.
As I returned at home, I found it, screaming behind the couch, and the way it lays down was very strange.
I did take it and had a very fast drive (to fast) to our veterinary.
But he couldn't help.

Hi
Just read on Spiegel-Online.de

There is in Japan a news site, Manga no Shimbun, a daily newspaper as manga.
http://newsmanga.com/
here a real story about an old german who tried to smuggle 2,9 kilogram of drugs into Japan
Image
Police officer: "Herr Heinrich, you couldn't be proud of this!"
Herr Heinrich: "Yes?"
Police officer: "You are the oldest one who is ever arrested at the airport."

And sports
Image
Corruption at Sumo
Some of the big idols where involved in illegal bets. So the japanese sumo union did give up for this year the "Tenno price"
As gesture of loyality the sumo star Hakuho did get only a simple flag.
His speech bubble:
"As the national hymn was played I looked up, but there was no trophy - such a pitty!"

You should watch out, from October on, they do plan to bring an english version into the web.

As you see, that's reality, more than you could ever imagine.

To any interested Mac users: getting Synfig installed is... very an adventure. Also, it's a little out-of-date (via fink, at least). But, it seems to work. If anyone manages to build from source, I would... not do that, because I value my sanity-like substance, but I'd be interested in how you did it, at least.

(For reference, I had to look over what I had in macports, say "eh, not using that", uninstall everything, and install fink. They do not seem to coexist. Then, I had to switch to unstable. And wait. A day or so.)

(The only thing I have to say about Synfig itself so far is... ah... the interface is kind of... cluttered. It is full of borders.)

selfmade jigsaw/puzzle music and a download

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 5f1302144e

If you use it with Winamp you have probably different titles.
Carillon, nothing to say, I should do it better next times, but I'm to lazy

Troedelsteiner Strumpf Orchester
, (Junkstone Socks Orchestra), using strings, trying to make a sound of a piece of classic.

Take The Church and Run, using the Bells from Carillon, and daydreaming that some hollywood stupids have to steal a complete church, for what kind of reason ever.

The other pieces, ... music or so...

Try to have fun.

You've got 14 days before it expires.
If you use it for a project, - hey, tell me!

Volker Pispers is one of the best german political comedians, (Kabarettist)

This here is from 2004, 6 years old. But it's the only one I did find with subtitles.

At this time Gerhard Schroeder was our chancellor.
Angela Merkel is since 2005 our chancellor, and she is not only the first woman in this position, she also the first chancellor from the former GDR (East Germany)

Allright, some gags are only understandable if you know about the chaotic politians in Germany.
But don't be sad, you will have the same feeling alike me when I'm watching similar american shows.

You've got some more questions?
Just look into Wikipedia

After some political funny 45 minutes

Now another Youtube Adventure

A website with the link to the trailer

Snowblind: Grindhouse Western made in Germany
Posted on November 8th, 2010 at 09:07 PM by Ulrik
Maybe I should install some saloon doors in here. After another trailer for the Eastern-meets-Western adventure The Warrior’s Way, here’s something else for you Western fans out there. The post-apocalyptic western Snowblind was created by a group of independent German producers on their own budget and free time. Since my weekend was pretty short, I’ll just embedd the trailer and tell you that the whole film is available for free on YouTube. Check out the official website for the HD and 3D (soon) version.

Get your pop corn,
we germans did take until the 80's some ice sweets, (yes we did), (little bars of chocolate filled with ice cream)
But today pop corn is also usual in german cinemas.
SNOWBLIND
