Houston elects first openly gay mayor
Remind me. Don't we have a few queer friends in Houston? Was that the branch of Citibank that Sylvia von Zurich works/ed at? I've not been here much for a while, I fear.

Perhaps you are thinking of long, lost me. I don't live in Houston itself any more (I'm out in the ex-urbs now) so I didn't get to vote in the election, although I did volunteer for Anise Parker the year she was first elected to the City Council back in 1997.
