I don't want your flu, but maybe you all can feel better after my little adventure.
A few weeks ago I'd get pain, tooth pain, and my right cheek did swell, and swell...
I didn't noticed it at first, you see, our cat Buffy did lost his upper fang teeth, because of pain...
And as a good animal friend, I feel with my cat..., - but it wasn't ...
The same I had this at christmas some years ago, yes the same tooth, the upper jaw.
I'd get only some antibiotics, this emergency dentist didn't dare to more on it.
Ok, this time I was encouraged enough to go directly to a doctor, a specialist for oral and maxillofacial surgery.
6 years ago I had visit him also, - for the other side of my jaw, grin...
It was the hottest day in Germany, (not as hot as you've got, but hot for a german..., well unusual)
So I was sitting there, sweat, sitting in my own liquid. Air conditioning? In a german doctors office? Are you mad?
As the coincindence it wanted, the doctor hadn't a functional x-ray, in fact he was waiting for the new equipment and he hadn't his old one anymore.
So he did send me to my dentist, luckily, just a few streets away, he should make the x-ray pictures.
So, with my thick cheek, but some anesthetics inside i'd walk to him.
The lift wasn't function also, but, hey this is Germany, no big buildings, my dentist is in the second floor.
Well, he wasn't at that day, he had his "day off"...
Allright, back to the other doctor, He said sorry, hm , nice.
And so I had to wait for anotter time in the chair, that was good, I had to time to calm down and to sweat a bit less.
What the doctor did is clear, open it and remove the cyst.
But first he tried it at the wrong place, the tooth before the evil one, no x-ray, remember?
After it, I had to take every eight hours my antibiotics. 10 pills
Damn, I felt dizzy with that stuff.
A week later he removed the stitches, a day before I was at my dentist for the x-ray picture.
Today I was again there, 14 days are gone, and he did wanted to look again, and he decided to remove the tooth.
Now I'm here at home, the local anesthesia is going away and the pain comes clear into the reality.
I still have my analgesic from the last time, and I put a cold gel pack, cold jelly pack, or how you call it, onto my cheek.
But, I still don't want your flu in exchange.
... oooh, that paaaaiiinnn...
