#237 Pajama Man

Kaye Haychold's ambitious plan

#237: Pajammaman

Postby Volair » Mon Feb 04, 2008 12:45 am

http://www.pasteldefender.com/to%20save ... 20237.html

May I say again, I LOVE NEW VOLA.

Clearly, there are different flavors of Vola. There are the Earth Volas, with their sullen stoicisim. There are the fire Volas, who rant and rave. There are the water Volas, who merely go along with what happens and try to avoid conflict.

Then there are Volas like these. Lighthearted, vicious-witted, and lecherous.

Meet Vola Air.

Woo! Go go Pajamaman!

Ah, this is pendeoclunisvelamin levels of forums-impinging-on-comicspace hilarity.

Oh, and it's not like ranged weapons will matter anyhow. Everyone knows Pajamaman is bullet proof. And very dashing.

Would anyone mind if I merged these two threads?

@.@

I feel... honored. :dead:
(^^>
I may just be being a bit slow, what with the splay switching and evil robot us's and such, but I'm a little confused as to what Pho means about betrayal. Does he mean, betrayal that they obviously have no intention of giving them their mover back, I assume? But is that accurate given that they aren't in the same splay they just left (unless I misunderstood)? Isn't this the mover of the Pho/Wai/Mr. X that were trying to steal the Krawlni ship?

Interesting guard fellows. Are those tower shields?

Also, good to see Vola's under-her-breath type thoughts are alive and well. We hadn't seen this Vola doing that at all yet, but I think that very last bit is such a comment.

Also, thanks for performing moderational duties that slipped my mind.

P.S.: I've got to say I like Virtue trying to be heroic- and calling them his family-, all humour aside. :)

I suspect that Virtue's combat training includes techniques to deal with massed ranged-weapon fire. Even if he hasn't got the endurance to keep dodging until they run out of ammo, it should be possible to simply close the distance to the formation and use those shields against each other. Pho can probably take Air Vola as a hostage.

With two seasoned warriors and a hostage situation, the soldiers will probably have better things to do than kill off a child and a weird blue lady, so the other two crewmembers are safe for the moment.

Everybody knows that if you just run sideways, machine gun fire can't hit you.

And if you're Chuck Norris, you can take out an entire armed-to-the-teeth gang with one roundhouse kick.

So there.

I have on high-quality +1 densely threaded synthetic material boots, though! And knee socks!

Good try though. //]

I suppose the question is, can even the mighty Pajamaman compare to the likes of Chuck Norris?... hmm...

I was thinking something more like jumping forward and up, higher than is widely considered possible, using some nifty linovective trick.
