Even if he hasn't got the endurance to keep dodging until they run out of ammo, it should be possible to simply close the distance to the formation and use those shields against each other. Pho can probably take Air Vola as a hostage.

Everybody knows that if you just run sideways, machine gun fire can't hit you.

I was thinking something more like jumping forward and up, higher than is widely considered possible, using some nifty linovective trick.

It wouldn't even need to be a trick; with linovection, he is essentially wearing a weighted training hat at all times. When Virtue removes the hat, it is time for the jumping.

My take on this is that the guards are there to protect against the Seraphim, and that nobody has betrayed anybody. Pajamaman is funny even without the treachery.

Or maybe this Virtue dies now, and later they pick up a crueler Virtue who's meaner demeanor partially causesthe incident in the future.
