I have to say that the portrait of light that Jennifer carved out of the first panel is just beautiful. It is practically inverse chiaroscuro.

Note to Jen: I'd love to see what Kaye's dirt god looks like.

Ah, I see I called it after all: a deus ex machina ex deo, par excellence.

So they crashed and died but were scraped up and reconstructed by ... the Ascended? The Min-Yan? The Hyper-Min-Yan?

Or just caught before crashing and patched up.

I like the image of Zeus in the background of the last panel. It reminds me of the one that was supposed to have been 10 feet high and gold.

Since it is taken from Pho's mind, I used the statue I created (based on some real statue -I think, anyway- that I have since forgotten in all these years of doing the comic) for the sequence where Pho talks about his past with the Twin Khans.

Maybe it's the same statue you are thinking of. Darn. All I can think of is the legendary statue of Apollo, but that is an entirely different god. I just can't remember where I got the basic design for that Zeus statue. I'm pretty sure it has to be based on a real-world statue. It's been so long. I can't even remember drawing the original anymore.

I love Pho's reaction to having an ascended post-singularity being represent himself as his God.

"No, really, it's nice--"

It speaks a lot of him that he acts like he's trying to waive off a fourth cup of coffee. A lesser being might have felt a need to play along. Not Pho. Polite, yes, but seriously, let's not play games.

And Jennifer has been repeatedly schooling the Ultimate Style page in To Save Her. She's getting really scary-good at a lot of things.

I got it as if they were talking to him "Was the statue wrong or incorrect?"

Yes! That, I think, was my inspiration.

I like the way your Zeus is holding a Mundis globe and a Trys worldplate in his hands. Nice touch that.
