The aesthetic sociopath line coming from from Pho is probably my favorite out of anything I've read of yours, Jenny ^^.

Well, in all fairness, Virtue used it to describe himself, and Pho just agreed. Hehe.

Very nice bit of dialogue all around. Though the future bodes ill, I wish Pho's noble quest the best of luck!

That said... they have their hats back on now. Just sayin'.

Yeah, I'm lovin' that particular description of Virtue as well. Reminds me a bit of Spike from Buffy Season 2. Also, Pho's promise to Chou struck me as very touching, especially given her almost-romantic past with her home-splay's version of him.

So this has probably been suggested a zillion times before, but I don't usually read the new-strip posts, so I feel I can go ahead and suggest that, in all likelihood, it'll be the H-Hold's sudden reversion to catastrophic failure that will turn the tables against Kaye. Or at the very least, it'll throw quite a twist in the whole situation.

As nice as that statement of Pho's sounds, there is no way to save a person from themselves. I wish him luck in trying though. Her splay seems to be the most advanced, so I think she would create her program like all others she has: voice interface and key it to her voice alone.

Chou is the one who rigged up the interface, and for all her outward youthfulness she's got upwards of a century of political and technical experience, including several major betrayals and suicide attempts. She's also used to the idea of Kays flipping out and killing each other over weird identity issues. There is a backup plan, coded right into the software shell Kaye Haychold is depending on to implement the doomsday plot.
