Here, Pho - Catch!
Now we know what Jennifer meant when she referred to Kaye's Jellese flesh:
Jennifer wrote:But there is one more vulnerability; Kaye's living body. That is soft against the hardness of the H-Hold. Enough of an impact and....

That hand reminds me of something. Say, anyone got a vat of molten metal handy?... No? :( Oh well.

It is a good thing that Virtue has catlike agility, or he would be in deep trouble.

I had time to have a look on the last panel.
So, - Virtue has now a broken spinal.
His "Hintern"/ bottom/backside is turned in a way a normal spinal column can not allow.
What a mighty power there is inside the robot H-Hold arm.
Looks elegant, the throwing into the air.
But Vitue has a broken spinal.
(Does Pho really think he can catch a heavy male body? Ouch!)

Only Pho can stop Kaye now.
And he must be very very clever, strength can not win here.

Pajama Man is imbued with the power of a pillowy spine as soft as feathery down!

I can do a spine can twist like that. I can lay on the floor in that position. Can't you? Try it. You just lay on your tummy, then tilt your pelvis up and at an angle. The lower part of the body is at 45 degrees to the upper part, in a smooth twist. It's conceptually no different than some yoga positions. You have to be a little flexible, perhaps.

I am not saying it is a comfortable position, but it hardly means a broken back.

Another way to do it is to lay on your side, then rotate your upper body so that your chest becomes nearly flat to the ground while leaving your hips to the side.

If you have a poseable artists mannequin or articulated toy man, you can easily duplicate this pose. It's only a 45 degree twist. Maybe just 35 degrees. Any healthy spine can do that. Mine isn't healthy at all, and even I can do it.

I did not do the flat body pose you suggest, because it does not suggest twisting in mid-air. The slight twist conveys a looser, more rag-doll body in my opinion.

Since when you are a cast member of Heroes?

Well, I still can touch with my toes my head, the top!

Allright, - lets say the backpack isn't innocent to create this "optical illusion".
But I still have got doubts...

Hey, we need an evil forumite, especially since a former one is very seldom our guest.

Is it just me, or does Virtue's hand switch in the third panel?

Yeah, but it switches back in the fourth panel, so causality is conserved. Y'know, like virtual particles.

Even at 48, I can assume the pose that Virtue is in... though to be fair, only on the floor or on a bed. It isn't that hard.. just try it.

Lie on your back, then begin to roll over onto your tummy. Preferentially roll the upper part of your body, above the waist more than below the waist. If you look carefully at Virtue, you will notice that the spine is not as twisted as you might imagine, because the twist is whole body.

Now I can assume this position, and I am 48, and I am, according to the BMI scale, obese. 5' 11" and 225 pounds.

Admittedly I did do a lot of yoga in my youth, and I have a strong scoliosis to my back. But that said, I do not think the position beyond many, even most people. I do this position sometimes to help get the kink out of my back, when my back goes out.

Try it, lest you become obsessed with 'Virtue's weird twisting motion'. It's not that difficult.
