Awesome! I'm pretty sure we're all looking forward to what you have planned. I know it's probably not easily wished away, but if you can, don't stress on it- just do what you can and I'm sure it'll be great (also note the steady improvements in artwork through the previous works!).

Sounds like I picked a nice time to return. Thanks, and good luck!

This is the best Christmas present ever!

Maybe getting something done can lift your spirits too? It always lifts mine. A sense of accomplishment can be a powerful boost. "I created a tiny doll out of wax and toothpicks, I CAN DO ANYTHING!"

No.
In the last months I had also a worse and evil depression, and I still have.
A few times I was close to make suicide.
(There is a border in my mind I couldn't go over. That's why I'm still here)
And it's not over.

That's why I didn't write much here.
I have to work on myself, however it ends.

Jennifer, you have also depressions you said.
I can only say, with my fresh experiences, go to work, draw again, you will need it, it will help you.

Excellent! I'm thrilled to see it start! Perhaps it perk the forums up a bit as well. It would seems real life has been making things difficult for many people. I know it has for me~ Funny story, medical insurance can give you proof they will pay for a procedure, then change their minds and take their payments back, leaving you with thousands of dollars in medical bills. Truefacts.

Sorry to possibly derail the thread, but WOWIE. :depressed:
I wondered why you hadn't been around here so much the past few months. It sucks being depressed.
I must confess, I've felt pretty bad the past few months (say September to November) mostly due to work and un-fulfillment. But the important thing to remember is that This too shall pass. It always does... eventually.

I am sorry that you and Jennifer have been feeling so bad. I am glad that you are all still here.

And you are right, Anna. You cannot expect to get anywhere if you do nothing to help yourself. By all means, take it slowly, but DO SOMETHING.

EDIT: WTF, TurtleFlower?!? Can they actually DO that?

Come on, now, if you're not ready then put up a sketch or something. Hell, a napkin drawing. Let's have us some IKA!

Hi!

Jenny here!

I'm writing in from Elde's account - my computer went tits up, and I need a new motherboard. It is in transit, so there may be a slight delay. I still intend to start this month, just waiting on delivery of the part, and then the ecstatic joy of putting my machine back together (irony!). In the mean time, I am recovering from food poisoning. Lovely.

This has been a fucked couple of months for me.

But, the new year awaits, and things are going to get better! (irony again!)

As I wait, computerless, I have been building Tryslmaistan in LittleBigPlanet. With a working Multiversal Mover and alternate splays. I love LittleBigPlanet.

Anyway, wish me luck.

I am 50 now, hey: any birthday you can walk away from is a happy birthday.

Yay! You're alive! I'm so glad to hear. Good luck with your computer. Food poisoning sucks so horribly bad. I once had a mild case of it after taking a bite out of a rotten pickle, and it felt like I was going to die a horrible bloody death with my intestines ejecting themselves from my body.

Ooh. Once you're happy enough with your LBP setup of Trys that you want to show it off, let us know how to find it online! I haven't played that game in forever, but I can't remember if there's any good way to find content that other people have made.

Uh, did somebody order a fried computer...? No?

Never mind. I hope it all gets fixed up soon.
Actually, it's funny how everyone was saying "Hey, Jen, you should take a break between comics" and then you said "Nah, I'll just jump back into the saddle for the next one", and then you were all "Oh shit, got swine flu" and we went "OMG Jenny's dead" and you were "Nope, I'm okay" and we were totally "PHEW you're ALIVE sorry about the panic" and then you said -

Ah, but you remember. ;] Hope your 50th was fun, despite all the bedlam.

Wishing I had a PS3 now... :depressed: LBP sounds like heaps of fun.
