MERRY XMAS UNICORN JELLY FORUMS!

I'm baking a pizza and a close friend is coming over in a little while to share it and exchange presents. In the meantime I'm trying to block out the noise of my family fighting and yelling. They're about to leave for a Christmas party. I can't wait to give my friend his present!

How are you celebrating?

Spending the minimum required time with my relatives, and then attempting to find the people I'll actually celebrate with.

Spending most of today with my boyfriend's family, then trying to make it home to my family (one state over from where we live now) to spend some time with mine. After that, it's back here again and getting ready for the big holiday party that we're throwing at our place this Wednesday. Hope everyone else is having as much fun as we have been. :3

...Zygote is spending the holiday soaking in an eclectic selection of olive brines and being forced to watch horrible romantic comedies. Drowning in maraschino cherry syrup would be a more merciful fate, though Zygote must admit the olive brines are astringently pleasant.

I spent Christmas and the 26th (got conflicted info as to whether it's Boxing Day this year or if that's the following Monday since it fell on a Sunday) having dinner with two sets of relatives, and the 24th celebrating Zephon's birthday with him at home. :3 We weren't able to get much this year, but we enjoyed what we gave and got, and very much enjoyed the feasting with family.

Especially since we spent just a few hours at each place--long enough to have wonderful dinner and conversation, not long enough to grow weary of relatives.

I spent Christmas working for about three hours (trust me to keep getting jobs at places that NEVER CLOSE ), went to a friend's place for dinner, and then had to drive for an hour and a half in the dark to collect my nephew (and then drive back).

Very tiring Christmas, but I had a good time nonetheless. I hope everyone else managed to have fun!
