it's a little sad to see the spam on some of the forums here too :/

I'm aiming to celebrate UJ's 15th birthday by reading it again, at the original release rate - meaning I wont finish till April 14, 2018! Eep!

I'll try and drop in here a little more regularly, if there is life...

I too am upset about the spams, It would be nice to see something done about it.

I fear that the only real solution to spam is an active forum... and by and large, the heyday of internet forums such as this are long gone, replaced with the facebook, twitter, reddit and other similar large community sites of which small communities such as this end up just being a part.

Not that I think that's a bad thing or anything, it's just a different thing. Like how forums were different to usenet too. :/

In other news, I plan to re-read UJ in real-time equivalent speed (ie, one strip per weekday), and tweet commentate it - timing it as 15 years after the original. I'm not sure yet whether this will feel more epic, or less, than watching all 50 years of Doctor Who in 9 months, as I did in 2013... !
