The old forums

Jen mentioned that the old forums would be around as an archive, but we wouldn't be able to post to them any more. Is this still the plan, or was that idea let go for some reason? Just curious because I have a few posts that I've used for reference and I'm now wishing I had copied them onto a file on my local drive.
