But the wiser Ascended beings know that cosmoses are just stages where individuals play out their little comedies and dramas. They have no other purpose.

Except that humans, Jellese, etc., aren't comparable to microbes, even from the perspective of a demigod. Microbes are not sapient, they have no awareness. However primitive an organic brain must be to an Ascended, it is still a brain. A closer comparison, IMO, is between a human and an intelligent pet, like a cat or a dog. There is a brain, a memory, self-awareness, and affection and loyalty, just at a more primitive level than from one human to another.

OoO seems to have forgotten the trees for focusing on the forest. Ordinary, organic people, would tend to focus on the trees and be unable to see the forest. I think an "ultimate" sort of being would be able (and would want) to do both, and that would fit Fuschia.

We have no way of knowing how far beyond current levels of awareness ascension will take us. It is entirely possible that compared to an ascended being, we have the wherewithal of an amoeba. Our pitiful "awareness", from a perspective outside time and space, could look to be no more advanced than "touched some food with a flagellum? Engulf it!"

How can something be truly conscious when it cannot see the results of its actions?

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

It would be more like looking at an infant and thinking that there is a lot of potential there even if it is currently a drooling, pants-shitting mess.
