Taasen - Nakimono Industries Special Edition Board?

Postby nemo » Tue Nov 25, 2008 4:43 am

I have been playing Taasen a little bit recently, and I recently discovered a variant of the Taasen board that I believe dates back to the heady days of Myrmil! I think it's an alternate board layout created by some engineers of Nakimono Industries in commemoration of the advent of the Trato-Yauronic device. It's design is probably partially based on the device, with the three shards of Chijimutite represented by the traditional green spaces.

The board topology is the same as for regular Taasen, though for beginner players the altered visuals may affect the way one thinks about the game... :explode:

(I moved this post from the Gaming section after I stopped to think about it a bit :)

....

My subconcious says I should play Fallout 3.
It's that my homunculus inside my head doesn't even try to understand the outside world. He thinks it's a video game and smashes the buttons at random to find the key where you shoot the lasers.

Wic - that certainly was the inspiration :)

I revive this thread because I've updated the circlestyle board with new improved!

Image

...and also created PDFs of both this and traditional style.

...I made these to help out a friend who is compiling up a list of boardgames in PDF form for print-and-play (print-and-cutout-and-play) format. (and as a bonus, more Inkscape practice :)
