I went looking for the original forums today. A bunch of nostalgia brought about by my reading of UJ.
I've never warmed to web forums in general - this is the only one I've ever become regular on. It felt like home.
The oldforums did anyway, where I had thousands of posts...
Archive.org has some indexes from them, but nothing more. /oldforums is a 404, and it's making me sadder than I expected, the more I think about it.
I'm missing those days
