Boppin' Turns 25 This Year

I randomly decided to play Boppin' today for the first time in about 3 years, and when I read Stephen's developer notes in the Credits screen I noticed that the first version of Boppin' for the Amiga was released in May 1992 . This means that, in about 2 months time, Yeet and Boik will be turning th...

Re: A Boppin' Custom Level I Made

Just an update: If you click that link just above, you'll find that there are actually two level packs now. I got bored, and also I kept coming up with new ideas (why is it that making games can be just as much fun as playing them?) so if anyone wants to blow the dust off their copy of Boppin', fee...

Re: I'm not dead yet!

Hello! I am not dead, in fact I just got my old account working again (thanks to Coda for trying to help me out ages ago, for some reason doing the password reset wouldn't work even when you tried to help me out last time but it worked today)! I know I didn't really know you guys that well, but I st...

Re: ...Happy New Year.

Mine will be to tie off loose threads, of which I have many. Another is to be more sociable and catch up with my friends and colleagues more often. ...Both of which I've just taken care of, I guess. See you in six months! 8) Seriously, though - I miss how much fun this forum used to be. :? So many s...

Re: I am 53. Happy Birthday to me!

Whoops, missed it by at least a month  but Happy Birthday Jennifer! I hope you had another good one this year. Did your family get to do anything nice for your 53rd? (The non-milestone birthdays tend to be less exciting when you get older, don't they? Still, I hope you had fun.) Oh, and a thou...

Re: Braid

Update: Played it. Finished it. Only got one star, not sure if I'll spend the time needed to get the rest. Now, I'll just rewind time back to 2009, back when this was all new and people still cared. :P Also, just finished Portal too. It's amazing what you can do once you finally fork out for a new co...

...of President Obama! It looks like Romney's been pipped at the post (despite some alleged rigging of the polling booths ), so now it's another term for Barack. So... are we happy? Upset? :x Meh? :? I for one am happy with the result; at the evry least, it's the lesser of two evils. (Better t...

Re: Getting Jens stuff on E-Ink/E-Readers.

Just my two cents worth... Make this a thing Jen. Definitely; your comics deserve to be shared with others, and since a lot of people have had trouble getting them in dead-tree form, it'd be a cool way to read them offline. Plus, it should be a bit more profitable for you than the books have been......

Hurricane Sandy - How is everybody?

How is everybody? I've heard all about the huge storm that's been sweeping across the eastern coast of North America , and what we've been hearing about it has been damn terrifying . Since this is one of the few places in which I'll be able to ask this question (I don't really know that many people ...

It makes me happy that you're back to creating stuff Jen! (even if it is fanfic... ;] ) I'll have to have a lookyloo when I get the time. As for MLP:FIM, I seem to have bypassed the phenomenon so far... I do not have a "horsona" yet (if that's the right term for it)... Also: good luck Vern...

Re: I don't read your mind, I CAN SEE IT!

Wow, that was confusing at first. But then I figured out that the "mindreads" were just compilations of similar videos that stimulated the brain in the same way. That explains what all those extra bits of text were doing floating across the bottom of the screen in some parts of the video. ...

Re: MS Paint Adventures

I LOL'd when I heard that [S] Cascade managed to break Newgrounds of all places! It's quite something to see when an eager fanbase turns into a DDOS! (I was lucky and forgot about the update until the next day, so I didn't have to worry about refreshing a non-loading flash.) That flash was definitel...

World's Biggest Pac-Man Game

Holy crap, just when I thought I'd heard of everything. This is what happens when retro mixes with cutting-edge. The World's Biggest PAC-MAN is a new website launched with the co-operation of Namco and Microsoft ( who are using it to promote IE9, but you don't need to have that browser to run it - i...

Re: AMY WINEHOUSE HAS DIED!!!!!!

...Well, they have the results from the toxicology report , and they say that (surprise!) Amy didn't consume any illegal drugs at the time of death. This of course leads to the question of what actually killed her. Theories put forward include alcohol withdrawal (which is unlikely since she did have...
